We are Alaskans and my sister wanted to go there because she moved out of state two years ago and this was her spot when she would visit Seward before she left. She said the food used to be amazing... beer battered deep fried halibut used to be her favorite (a must have!!!), but this wasn't on the menu anymore. It instead was panko crusted and came in at $37 for a few overcooked pieces. My Halibut Andaman was overcooked and flavorless; I ordered the coconut curry sauce on the side because I thought it would be overpowering for the fish, but the dish may have been inedible without it. The only thing that I would say was actually great was the Alaskan Summer Ale on tap and the clam appetizer. I would recommend going somewhere else... I heard from a local that the Cookery downtown is pretty good.September 22, 2016
